Our Policies

OZRC Change of Mind Return Policy

  • You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of receipt of delivery for a replacement or partial refund of the price you paid for the item if you change your mind, a 10 percent restocking fee applies to the invoice value of any item returned, alternatively a store credit of 100% of the original purchase price can be applied for.

Conditions applying to the change of mind policy, unless otherwise stated

  • All item packaging, documentation (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the returned items. Packaging must be unopened and seals intact (where applicable).
    Items must be in new and unworn condition.
  • Any items that, because of customer negligence, misuse or tampering are, damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition, will not be accepted for return.
  • Any item(s) that have been resized, damaged or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.
  • OZRC is not required to accept change of mind returns on items outside the specified return window or change of mind returns of items that do not comply with this Policy.
  • We do not refund the original fees you paid for your order to be shipped.
  • These conditions apply only to change of mind returns and do not apply to items that are returned because they are faulty.

Order Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within the same day will be processed as long as the order has not been shipped.
  • For cancellations made after 1 (one) day a 5 percent restocking fee applies to the invoice value of any item ordered.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at g_rc@hotmail.com.

Gift Cards

  • Gift Cards are not returnable for change of mind after purchase (except as required by law).

Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
  • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Faulty Items and Australian Consumer Law

  • If an item purchased from OZRC is faulty, any related return and refund rights we offer you will apply in addition to, and do not limit, other rights and remedies you may have under law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you identify a faulty item:

  • Within the relevant return window for that item, you can return the item to us by contacting us through our Contact Us feature or by phone or email.
    Where possible, please notify us of faulty items using the Contact Us or by contacting us within 30 days from receipt of delivery.
  • Faulty items do not have to be returned in their original packaging, but must be packaged appropriately to avoid damage during the return shipping process.
  • Factors such as age, price, the item’s condition and the disclosures made about the item may be relevant to your return and refund rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Consumer Law also applies to used and refurbished items.

Customer Damage

  • OZRC is not required to accept any returned item that, as a result of customer negligence, misuse or tampering is, damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition.

Electronics

  • OZRC will provide you with a replacement or a full refund of the purchase price of an electronic item if the item:

Didn’t operate when it arrived; or arrived in damaged condition, and you return the item to us within 30 days from receipt of delivery.

  • We do not refund any fees you paid for your order to be shipped.
  • OZRC may test items that are returned because they did not operate upon arrival, this may result in the customer being charged a testing fee equal to 15 percent of the item purchase price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the item.
  • For returns of faulty electronic items or devices after 30 days from receipt of delivery, please contact us as you may still be entitled to a remedy.

In store pick up

  • For items purchased with the Pick Up In Store shipping method OZRC will hold the order for a period of 1 (one) months from date of purchase.
  • You notified via the contact number on the order invoice once the period of one month is up to arrange shipping, collection or cancellation of the order.
  • If you cannot be contacted, items not collected within the holding period will be subjected to a 20 percent restocking fee of the total invoice value, the remaining funds will be refunded back to you.

Shipping rates

  • Shipping rates refer to standard size parcels for delivery within Australia. Parcels that are over-sized or very heavy may have additional charges applied. If extra charges are to be applied, you, the customer, will be contacted by phone or email to confirm the amount of any additional charges before processing.
  • Our online orders are shipped from our store in Geebung QLD. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 business days of receiving the order provided products are in stock and payment has been cleared. Business days are Monday-Friday 10:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am-2:00pm AEST.
  • If we cannot process your order within 2 business days we will be in contact by either email or phone to explain why and give you an ETA. If the ETA does not work for you, we can process a refund, exchange or store credit for your order, whichever you decide.
  • Our orders are shipped via Australia Post. Once an order has been placed please understand we cannot change the shipping address for security reasons.
  • If you require the address to be changed, the order must be cancelled and placed a second time with the updated address.
  • Once you have placed your order, your tracking number will be uploaded to the ‘order tracking’ tab on the OZRC website. Once the package has left us it is your responsibility to keep an eye on when it should be arriving and to contact us within 7 days after the expected delivery date if it has not arrived.

Express freight

  • Available in checkout for eligible items, this excludes aerosols, lithium batteries and other restricted items.

Shipping insurance

  • We take pride in packing our online orders to minimize any damage and ensure a clear address label is attached. Unfortunately, without insurance we cannot accept responsibility for how parcels are handled once they leave our stores, or if they go missing.
  • Items over $500 AUD in value will automatically have an insurance policy applied, for items of lesser value a policy may be requested at additional cost.
  • If an incorrect address has been provided, and as a result, the parcel is required to be dispatched again, this is not covered under insurance policy and postage charges will apply.

International shipping

  • We ship internationally by request only, however, a shipping quote will need to be supplied at the time of your order.

Dangerous goods

  • Aerosols, Lacquer paints, and Nitro Fuel fall under the dangerous goods category. These products must be shipped via a courier which generally attracts an additional cost. This courier service is also unable to deliver to certain areas including some outlying islands and post office boxes. If any of these issues impact your order, we will contact you prior to processing

Shipping item(s) to OZRC

  • For change of mind returns of item(s):
    Items with a value of $35 (thirty five dollars) or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method
  • Return postage will be paid by buyer for faulty and/or change of mind items(s).

Not what you ordered?

  • We have checks in place to ensure you are sent the correct items. However, if by chance a mix up has occurred, please contact us via email or by phone, and we can organize to get the correct items to you. We will request you to send back the incorrectly shipped items, so if you hang on to the original shipping packaging, it will make it quicker and easier. Postage will be covered by us.

Pre order/back orders

  • backorders are available to cancel at no extra cost after a period of 6 (six) months has passed since date of purchase.
  • Change of mind policy conditions will apply to backorders cancelled within the 6 (six) month window since date of purchase.
  • backorders for an item that is discontinued by the manufacturer before the backorder is fulfilled will be eligible for a full refund or store credit.
