The ARRMA TYPHON 223S BLX is a 1/8 scale brushless 4X4 RC buggy designed for off-road bashing, high-speed driving and drivers progressing from manageable 2S power to faster 3S performance.

The factory-installed Spektrum 3100kV brushless motor and SLT 80A 2-in-1 ESC and receiver support both 2S and 3S hardcase LiPo batteries. ARRMA rates the TYPHON for speeds above 56km/h on 2S and more than 80km/h on 3S under suitable conditions.

The included Spektrum SLT3 transmitter provides selectable 50%, 75% and 100% throttle limits. Spektrum Dynamic Stability Control adds four selectable assistance modes to help maintain direction on loose or slippery surfaces while the driver develops confidence and control.

FAQ

Does the ARRMA TYPHON 223S include a battery and charger? No. The transmitter and four AA batteries are included, but the main 2S or 3S hardcase LiPo battery and compatible charger are required separately.

Should a beginner use a 2S or 3S battery? OZRC recommends beginning with a 2S battery and the transmitter set to 50% or 75% throttle. A 3S battery provides substantially greater acceleration and top speed.

What does Dynamic Stability Control do? Spektrum DSC provides automatic steering corrections to help the buggy maintain its intended direction. The system has four selectable modes and can be switched off.

Can the TYPHON 223S use a 4S battery? No. The factory-installed power system is designed for a maximum of one 3S LiPo battery.

• Long or thick grass places additional load on the motor, ESC and battery and may cause excessive heat.
• Allow the motor, ESC and battery to cool between demanding runs.
• Never charge a LiPo battery unattended.
• Use a compatible balance charger and charge LiPo batteries inside a suitable charging bag or fire-resistant container.
• Do not use or charge a swollen, damaged, punctured or excessively hot LiPo battery.
• Water-resistant electronics do not make the buggy suitable for submersion.
• Clean and dry the buggy after wet, muddy or dusty use.
