Can I change the grille? Yes. Grille customisation is one of the standout features of this SCX24 C10. All three grille styles are included, so you can choose the model-year appearance you prefer.
Is the Axial SCX24 C10 fully Ready-to-Run? Yes. The crawler, Spektrum transmitter, 350mAh 2S LiPo battery, USB charger and four AA transmitter batteries are included.
Can I use the SCX24 C10 indoors? Yes. Its 1/24 scale size makes it excellent for desktop and tabletop crawling, homemade obstacle courses and other small indoor spaces. It is also capable of tackling appropriately scaled rocks, dirt and trails outdoors.
Does this version have oil-filled shocks? Yes. The suspension uses oil-filled shocks to provide damping and smoother articulation over obstacles. Preload can also be adjusted using 1mm, 2mm and 4mm spacers.
What tyres are fitted? The C10 uses officially licensed Interco Super Swamper TSL Bogger tyres. Their aggressive tread is inspired by the full-size Bogger and is designed to provide useful traction across varied crawling terrain.
Does it use bearings or bushings? This version features a full ball-bearing drivetrain for smooth and efficient operation.
Why does the SCX24 use worm gears? Metal worm gears in the front and rear axles provide durable gear reduction, help maximise ground clearance and create strong drivetrain resistance that is useful when holding position on steep crawling obstacles.
Is the body a hard ABS shell? No. This SCX24 C10 uses a detailed polycarbonate body. The interchangeable grille components add extra scale detail to the front end.
Can the SCX24 C10 be upgraded? Yes. The SCX24 platform has extensive aftermarket support, with upgrades available for wheels, tyres, suspension, steering, motors, gears, chassis components and other areas. Its popularity also makes replacement and custom parts widely available.
