The E-flite EFLU32050 UMX Conscendo is an 802mm BNF Basic electric RC motor glider for pilots with some flying experience, combining soaring, sport and aerobatic capability with a factory-installed Spektrum brushless system, AS3X stability and optional SAFE Select flight envelope protection.

FAQ

Is the E-flite UMX Conscendo EFLU32050 ready to fly? The EFLU32050 is a Bind-N-Fly Basic aircraft with the motor, ESC, receiver and four servos already installed. A compatible Spektrum transmitter, suitable 2S or 3S LiPo battery and LiPo charger are required separately.

What battery does the UMX Conscendo use? E-flite specifies a 2S 7.4V or 3S 11.1V 280–300mAh LiPo battery with a JST-RCY connector. A suitable JST-PH battery can also be used with the appropriate JST-RCY to JST-PH adaptor.

Can the UMX Conscendo run on both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries? Yes. The factory-installed brushless power system supports both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries within the recommended 280–300mAh capacity range.

What is the difference between AS3X and SAFE Select? AS3X works in the background to help smooth the effects of wind and turbulence. SAFE Select is an optional feature that can provide pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling when appropriately configured with a compatible transmitter.

Is the UMX Conscendo suitable as a first RC aeroplane? E-flite rates the UMX Conscendo at Skill Level 2 for pilots with some experience. Its SAFE Select technology can make the aircraft easier to manage, but it is not marketed as a dedicated first-aircraft trainer.
