View All HiLantronicsThe HiLantronics Micron1T Kit A is a programmable RC engine kill switch for 2-stroke gas engines, providing automatic engine shutdown if the receiver battery runs low, the radio signal glitches or connection or power is lost.
Features
- Programmable engine safety: Automatically kills the engine following a low receiver battery condition, radio glitch, loss of radio connection or power loss
- Radio compatibility: Selectable operation for most 2, 3 and 4+ channel radio systems
- Remote engine shutdown: Allows the engine to be stopped from the transmitter channel switch when configured with a 3 or 4+ channel radio
- Adjustable low-voltage cutoff: Selectable 3V, 4V, 5V or 6V cutoff settings
- Adjustable glitch sensitivity: Allows the kill-switch response to radio signal disturbances to be configured
- Mechanical relay switching: Provides electrical isolation when interrupting the ignition spark to stop the engine
- External status LED: Provides a visible indication of radio signal and engine kill-switch status
- Australian made: Designed and manufactured in Australia

FAQ
Will the HiLantronics Micron1T work with a 2-channel radio? Yes. The Micron1T supports most 2, 3 and 4+ channel radio systems. Transmitter channel-switch engine shutdown is specifically available when used with a suitable 3 or 4+ channel setup.
What will cause the Micron1T to automatically stop the engine? The Micron1T can automatically kill the engine following a low receiver battery condition, radio glitch, loss of radio connection or power loss.
Can the low-battery cutoff voltage be adjusted? Yes. The Micron1T provides selectable low-voltage cutoff settings of 3V, 4V, 5V or 6V so the protection can be configured for the receiver power system.
What does the red LED indicate? A flashing LED indicates no radio signal, a solid red LED indicates the engine is on or ready to start, and an unlit LED indicates the engine kill function is active.
Important Notes
- Designed for 2-stroke gas engine ignition systems; this product is not described as a nitro-engine kill switch
- Correct radio configuration and low-voltage cutoff selection are required for the intended installation
