Is the Maverick Scout24 Flux Red ready to run? Yes. The Scout24 Flux arrives fully assembled with a brushless motor, radio system, drive battery and USB charger. Four AA batteries are required separately for the transmitter.

What is the difference between the standard Scout24 and Scout24 Flux? The standard Scout24 uses a 130 brushed motor and is rated for speeds up to 20km/h. The Scout24 Flux features a 1212 brushless motor, up to 25km/h speed and selectable four-wheel steering.

What are the four steering modes? Front-wheel steering turns the front wheels only, rear-wheel steering turns the rear wheels only, counter-phase four-wheel steering turns the axles in opposite directions for tighter turns, and in-phase four-wheel steering turns them in the same direction for crab-style movement.

Can the steering modes be changed while driving? Yes. The four steering configurations can be selected using the included MTX-316 transmitter.

Does the Scout24 Flux have low and high gears? Yes. The three-position transmission provides low-speed crawling, neutral and high-speed driving. There are two powered driving ranges.
