The MIP Super Ball Differential is a precision drivetrain upgrade designed for classic Tamiya off-road vehicles including the Blackfoot, Monster Beetle, Subaru Brat, and The Frog. Developed as a direct bolt-on solution for the 2015 Monster Beetle and 2016 Blackfoot re-releases, this ball differential provides smoother power delivery, improved handling, and enhanced durability compared to the stock gear differential. Engineered to work with Tamiya’s universal pin drive axle system, the MIP Super Ball Diff allows the installation of higher-power brushless motors without risking damage to the original drivetrain. With tunable grease viscosity and high-quality materials such as hardened steel drive rings and precision bearings, this upgrade brings modern drivetrain performance to classic 1980s RC platforms.
