The Power HD WH-80V1 is a high-voltage, high-torque digital servo designed for demanding 1/5 and 1/6 scale RC applications. Delivering up to 80kg-cm of torque at 8.4V, it is suitable for steering duties in large-scale on-road cars, off-road vehicles, crawlers, monster trucks and short-course trucks.

A full aluminium case helps protect the internal components while assisting with heat dissipation. Steel gears, dual ball bearings and waterproof construction provide the strength and reliability required for heavy vehicles and demanding driving conditions.

FAQ

Can this servo be powered directly from a standard 6V receiver system? No. The specified operating-voltage range is 7.4V to 8.4V. A compatible high-voltage receiver supply, BEC or receiver battery is required.

Does this servo use a standard 25T servo horn? No. The WH-80V1 uses a large-scale 15-tooth output spline measuring approximately 7.6mm. Confirm that your existing servo horn matches this spline before installation.

Is the WH-80V1 suitable for 1/5 scale steering? Yes. Its high torque, aluminium case and steel gears make it suitable for steering in compatible large-scale on-road and off-road vehicles. Physical mounting dimensions, spline type and electrical requirements should be checked before purchase.

Is the servo waterproof? Yes. The WH-80V1 features waterproof construction; however, connectors, extension leads and other electronics must also be protected from water.

Can I set the servo travel beyond 90 degrees? The standard operating travel is approximately 90 degrees. Travel may reach approximately 135 degrees with a compatible transmitter or programmer using the specified pulse range. Always check for steering binding before increasing travel.
