The super-soft Predator compound is designed to conform closely to rocks, roots and technical terrain, helping maximise grip in low-speed crawling conditions. At approximately 4.75 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide, the Krawler delivers an effective balance of ground clearance, scale appearance and trail performance.

FAQ
What is the Predator compound? Predator is Pro-Line's super-soft crawler compound. It is designed to conform closely to uneven surfaces and generate high grip during slow, technical crawling.
How does Predator compare with Pro-Line G8? Predator is softer and generally better suited to cool conditions, smooth rock and maximum technical grip. G8 is firmer and may provide more tread support and durability in warmer weather or mixed trail use.
Will these tyres fit any 1.9-inch wheel? They are designed for standard 1.9-inch crawler wheels, but bead shape and wheel design can vary. Confirm compatibility with your beadlock or glue-on wheels before installation.
Will they fit my RC crawler without rubbing? Fit depends on the vehicle's suspension, body, steering angle, wheel offset and ride height. These tyres are approximately 121mm tall and 44mm wide, so check available clearance before ordering.
Are wheels included? No. This package contains two tyres and two foam inserts only. Wheels are sold separately.
Do the tyres need to be glued? Glue-on crawler wheels require suitable RC tyre adhesive. Beadlock wheels mechanically clamp the tyre bead and normally do not require glue when assembled correctly.
Are the tyres directional? Inspect the tread and sidewall markings before mounting and install both tyres consistently. Test the chosen orientation to determine which direction performs best on your terrain.
Are the included foam inserts suitable for heavy crawlers? The included soft foams are intended to provide high traction, but a heavy vehicle may require firmer, dual-stage or vehicle-specific inserts to prevent excessive sidewall folding.
Can the foams be vented? Crawler wheels or tyres are often vented to let the tyre conform more easily. The preferred method depends on the wheel system and whether the vehicle is used in water or mud.
Are these suitable for high-speed driving? They are primarily designed for low-speed crawling and trail use. The very soft compound and tall sidewall are not intended for sustained high-speed running.
Can they be used in wet conditions? The tread can provide useful grip on many wet surfaces, but water inside the tyre or foam can affect balance and cause deterioration. Dry the tyres and inserts thoroughly after wet use.
How can I make the tyres last longer? Avoid extended high-speed running, excessive wheelspin and storage in direct sunlight or high heat. Clean them with mild soap and water rather than aggressive solvents.
Important Notes
- This package includes two tyres and two foam inserts only.
- Wheels, beadlock rings, adhesives and installation tools are not included.
- Confirm tyre clearance around the body, suspension and steering components before installation.
- The Predator compound is extremely soft and may show faster wear than firmer compounds when used at high speed or on abrasive surfaces.
- Check that both tyre beads are evenly seated before operating the vehicle.
- Use only adhesive intended for RC tyres when fitting to glue-on wheels.
- Recheck beadlock screws after the first run and periodically thereafter.
- Tyre diameter may vary slightly depending on the wheel, insert and vehicle weight.
- Dry the tyres and foam inserts thoroughly after use in water or mud.
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone-producing equipment and petroleum-based chemicals.
