Are RPM 80683 turbos functional? No. RPM specifies that these are mock turbo accessories for scale appearance only and do not function as real turbochargers.

Will RPM 80683 fit a 1/10 RC body? Yes, provided the body has a suitable mounting area. RPM rates the set for many 1/8 to 1/12 scale bodies, which includes typical 1/10 applications.

Do I need to cut holes in the body? The standard recessed installation requires body cut-outs using RPM's supplied template. RPM recommends relatively flat bonnet or hood areas because heavily curved surfaces may prevent the base plates from sitting flush.

Can the turbos be fitted without cutting large recessed openings? RPM states that the turbos may be mounted directly to the body without the recessed plates, but shorter mounting screws are required and are not included.
