FAQ

Why does the paint appear transparent? Colour Change paints are translucent and must be applied in several light coats. The dramatic colour shift becomes fully visible only after the required High Gloss Black Backer is applied.

Why is High Gloss Black Backer required? Spaz Stix High Gloss Black Backer (SZX00110 or SZX00119) creates the dark reflective base needed for the Gold and Red colour shift to achieve maximum depth and intensity.

Do I need to thin this paint before airbrushing? No. The paint is supplied pre-thinned and is ready to pour directly into your airbrush.

Should I use Surface Pre-Prep? Yes. Applying a light mist of Spaz Stix Surface Pre-Prep (SZX90050 or SZX90059) before painting helps remove fingerprints, dust and surface contamination that can affect the final finish.

Can this paint be used on surfaces other than polycarbonate? Yes. For external applications, apply the High Gloss Black Backer first, followed by the Colour Change paint, then protect the finish with a compatible clear coat such as Spaz Stix SZX90109.
