Red Pearl is intentionally translucent rather than opaque. Is Spaz Stix Red Pearl SZX16039 an opaque red paint? No. Red Pearl is intentionally very translucent. The backing colour remains visible through the Pearl layer and plays an important role in determining the finished appearance.

Why does very little red appear when I first spray the paint? This is normal. Red Pearl sprays on translucent, so it can initially appear that very little colour is being applied. Build the effect gradually with several light, even coats before adding the backing colour.
