Do I need to thin this paint before airbrushing? No. The paint is supplied pre-thinned and is ready to pour directly into your airbrush.

Why does the paint appear transparent when sprayed? This is normal. Silver Pearl is designed to be translucent, with the final effect created after applying a solid backing colour.

Which backing colour should I use? Black produces a deeper, darker pearl effect, while white creates a brighter, more traditional pearl finish. Other backing colours can be used to achieve custom effects.

Can this paint be used on surfaces other than polycarbonate? Yes, but when used externally the backing colour should be applied as the base coat, followed by the pearl paint and a suitable clear coat for protection and gloss.
