Can the Savox SW0231MG operate on 7.4V? No. The original SW0231MG is rated for 4.8–6.0V operation. The newer SW-0231MG+ is a different high-voltage version supporting up to 7.4V. Check the exact model number before connecting the servo to a high-voltage BEC.

Is the Savox SW0231MG waterproof? Yes. The servo features a waterproof case design intended for suitable RC car and boat environments. Avoid treating the entire radio system as waterproof unless the receiver, connectors and other electronics are also protected.
