This is the Tamiya 1/14 Scania 770 S 8x4 Semi Truck Kit. With this extremely beautiful replica of the real 1/1 scale Scania 770 S 8x4 semi truck with no details left out, we can definitely say that Tamiya has officially knocked it out of the park! The actual S series in which this model replicates features a mighty V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp. The 8x4/4 means double-axle 4-wheel drive at the rear and double-axle 4-wheel steering at the front which revolutionized the Semi truck industry with these exceptional capabilities. And just like the actual vehicle, this model has functional double rear-axle drive and double front-axle steering! With the motor and transmission at the front on a metal ladder frame. This Scania 770 S also features a highly realistic suspension using metal leaf springs that can be moved up and down by hand at the second axle with a similar mechanism to the real Scania 770 S.
