What surfaces can Tamiya X-2 White be used on? It is suitable for most modelling surfaces including plastic, metal and wood, making it ideal for detailing, finishing and general hobby painting.
Can this paint be airbrushed? Yes. For best results, thin the paint with Tamiya Enamel Thinner. A recommended starting ratio is approximately 2 parts thinner to 10 parts paint, adjusting as required for your airbrush and spraying conditions.
Is this suitable for polycarbonate RC bodies? No. Tamiya enamel paints are not designed for flexible polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies. For Lexan body shells, use Tamiya PS Polycarbonate Spray Paints.
Can lacquer paints be applied over this enamel paint? No. Lacquer paints should never be applied over enamel paints, as they may react with and damage the enamel finish.
