Recreate one of Porsche's most celebrated competition cars with the limited-edition Tamiya Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8. This 1/10 scale RC assembly kit combines the classic wide-body Porsche silhouette with Tamiya's adaptable BT-01 two-wheel-drive chassis.

The lightweight polycarbonate body is factory painted in White with Smoke-tinted windows, while the wheel arches are pre-cut and the body-mount holes are pre-drilled. These prepared body features reduce finishing work while retaining the rewarding chassis assembly, detailing and sticker application of a traditional Tamiya kit.

To reflect the layout of the full-size rear-engined Porsche, the BT-01 chassis is assembled in its short-wheelbase, midship rear-motor and rear-wheel-drive configuration. A Type 540 brushed motor and electronic speed controller are included, while a compatible radio system, steering servo, battery and charger are required separately.

Is the Tamiya Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 ready to run? No. This is an assembly kit. The chassis, suspension, drivetrain and electronics must be assembled before the car can be operated.

Is the body already painted? Yes. The polycarbonate body is factory painted White, and the windows are finished with a Smoke tint.

Are the wheel arches already cut? Yes. The main wheel arches are pre-cut and the body-mount holes are pre-drilled. Tamiya still notes that some body finishing, sticker application and final preparation are required.
