FAQ

Is PS-29 Fluorescent Pink transparent? Yes. Like most fluorescent polycarbonate paints, PS-29 is translucent. Backing it with white produces the brightest and most vibrant fluorescent finish.

Why should I use a white backing? A white backing reflects more light through the fluorescent paint, making the colour significantly brighter and helping achieve the intended fluorescent appearance.

Can I apply one heavy coat? No. Apply several light coats, allowing each coat to become touch dry before applying the next. Heavy coats may cause runs, solvent trapping or cracking.

Can this paint be used on plastic model kits? No. PS Series paints are specifically formulated for flexible polycarbonate (Lexan) RC body shells and should not be used on hard plastic model kits.

How should I paint an RC body? Wash the body thoroughly, spray from the inside of the shell while holding the can approximately 30cm away, allow each coat to dry, then back the fluorescent paint with white for maximum colour intensity.
