The Traxxas 2380 Pro-Built differential is a complete, factory-assembled replacement differential for compatible 1/10-scale Traxxas 2WD vehicles fitted with the standard Magnum 272 transmission.

Supplied ready to install, it eliminates the need to assemble the internal differential gears individually. It is a practical replacement for a worn, damaged, slipping or rough-running factory differential in compatible Bandit, Rustler, Slash and Stampede models.

This differential is designed for the standard Magnum 272 transmission. It does not fit the Magnum 272R transmission used in selected newer or upgraded Traxxas 2WD vehicles.

FAQ

Does Traxxas part 2380 fit the Magnum 272R transmission? No. Part 2380 fits the standard Magnum 272 transmission and is not compatible with the Magnum 272R.

How can I tell whether my vehicle has a Magnum 272 or 272R transmission? Check the vehicle model number, transmission housing and exploded parts diagram. The 272R normally has a different housing design, an aluminium motor plate and a sealed, oil-filled differential.

Is the differential fully assembled? Yes. The internal differential components are factory assembled and supplied as one complete unit.

Are bearings included? The product is supplied as the complete differential assembly. Reuse the existing transmission bearings if they are serviceable or replace them separately when worn.

Is this a sealed oil-filled differential? No. The standard Magnum 272 differential is not designed as the sealed, silicone-oil-tuneable differential used in the Magnum 272R.
