The Traxxas X-Maxx 8S is a large-scale 4WD brushless RC monster truck designed for high-speed off-road driving and heavy-duty bashing, with belted tyres providing more stable handling at speed.

The reinforced orange clipless body uses an internal support cage, protective skids and chassis-mounted nerf bars to help withstand rollovers and side impacts. Oversized GTX aluminium shocks and long-travel independent suspension provide controlled damping across jumps, ruts and rough terrain.

The Velineon VXL-8s power system combines a waterproof electronic speed controller with a 1200XL 1275kV brushless motor. Two matching 4S LiPo batteries are required for full 8S performance, while two matching 3S LiPo batteries can be used for 6S operation.
