The Yokomo Super Drift SD3.0 is a high-specification 1/10 RWD RC drift chassis kit developed for precise steering control, balanced front-to-rear grip and extensive setup tuning. The black SDR-030 combines a graphite double-deck chassis with a newly designed aluminium steering system, selectable 3/4-gear rear bulkhead, aluminium SLF big bore shocks and extensive aluminium chassis components for competitive and advanced drift builds.

Is the Yokomo SD3.0 SDR-030 ready to run? No. SDR-030 is an unassembled chassis kit. Motor, ESC, servo, radio equipment, gyro, battery, charger, pinion gear, wheels, tyres and body are required separately.

Is the Yokomo SD3.0 rear-wheel drive? Yes. The Super Drift SD3.0 is a rear-wheel-drive chassis developed specifically for modern 1/10 RC drifting.

What is different about the SD3.0 steering system? Yokomo developed a new aluminium steering system with forward-tilted steering wipers. The geometry reduces changes in tie-rod angle as the steering operates, helping provide more stable and precise control through corners.

Can the Yokomo SD3.0 use a three-gear or four-gear gearbox? Yes. The aluminium rear bulkhead provides selectable three-gear and four-gear drivetrain configurations, giving experienced drivers another way to tune drivetrain characteristics.

Does the Yokomo SD3.0 include aluminium shocks? Yes. The standard SDR-030 specification includes aluminium SLF big bore shocks together with aluminium front and rear shock towers.

Does the SD3.0 include a gyro? No. A suitable drift steering gyro is required separately. This allows the driver to select a gyro and steering electronics package to suit the intended setup.

What battery does the Yokomo SD3.0 require? Yokomo specifies a 2-cell LiPo battery for the SD3.0. The battery and compatible charger are sold separately.
