Is the Joysway Focus V3 JW-8812R completely ready to sail? The RTR package includes the radio system and servos, but final mast, keel, sail and rigging assembly and adjustment are required before launching.
What batteries are required for the Focus V3? Four AA alkaline batteries are required for the transmitter and another four AA alkaline batteries are required for the receiver battery box. Eight AA batteries are required in total and are not included.
Does the Joysway Focus V3 use an electric motor? No. The Focus V3 is wind powered. The radio system controls the rudder and sail position while the main and jib sails provide propulsion.
What changed with the Focus V3? Joysway lists revised jib attachment to the mast head crane, adjusted boom length, revised sail sizing and an updated overall weight among the changes from the earlier Focus version.
