Designed for RC cars, trucks, aircraft and other hobby applications, this compact single-channel charger combines convenient USB-C power, Spektrum Smart charging technology and built-in IC3 and IC5 charging connections in one easy-to-use unit.

With up to 100W charging capability when powered by a suitable USB-C power supply and cable, the S100 G2 is ideal for charging batteries at home, on the workbench or at the track. Its Smart Auto Charge function recognises compatible Spektrum Smart battery settings, while the LED display and simple three-button interface make it easy to monitor and control charging.

Spektrum Smart G2 batteries can be charged and balanced through a single IC3 or IC5 connection without a separate balance lead. The charger also supports compatible conventional lithium batteries using their balance leads and can charge supported Spektrum Smart NiMH batteries.

Power supply sold separately: This charger includes a 60W-rated USB-C cable but does not include a USB-C wall adapter. Full 100W performance requires an appropriately rated external power supply and USB-C cable.

FAQ

Does the Spektrum S100 G2 include a wall charger? No. SPMXC2090 includes the charger, a 60W-rated USB-C cable and the instruction manual. A USB-C wall power supply is sold separately.

Can the S100 G2 charge at 100W? Yes, with a compatible 100W-rated USB-C power supply and cable. The included cable is rated for 60W, so a suitable higher-rated cable is required for full 100W operation.

Can I use a 65W USB-C power adapter? Yes, provided it meets the charger's USB-C power requirements. Charging power will be limited by the available input power and other charging limits.

Can I charge a Spektrum Smart G2 battery without a balance lead? Yes. Compatible Smart G2 batteries can be charged and balanced through a single IC3 or IC5 connector.

Can it charge Spektrum Smart G1 batteries? Yes. Smart G1 batteries are compatible with Smart G2 chargers, although their separate balance leads must be connected where required.

What is the difference between IC3 and IC5? IC3 and IC5 are different sizes of Spektrum battery power connectors. The S100 includes both charging connections for convenient use with compatible batteries.

Will EC3 and EC5 batteries connect? Yes. Spektrum states that IC3 and IC5 connections are backward compatible with corresponding EC3 and EC5 power connectors. Standard batteries still require appropriate charging settings and balance connections.
