FAQ

Will this battery fit my RC vehicle? Check three factors before ordering: your vehicle must support a 4S 14.8V LiPo, its battery tray must accommodate approximately 138 × 46 × 48mm, and its ESC must use a compatible EC5 connection.

Can I use this battery in a 3S vehicle? Only when the vehicle manufacturer and ESC specifications explicitly permit 4S operation. Installing a 4S pack in a system rated only for 2S or 3S can damage the ESC, motor or drivetrain.

Does EC5 fit an IC5 connector? Standard EC5 and IC5 power connectors are generally physically compatible for the main positive and negative connection. This battery does not provide Spektrum Smart telemetry or data functionality.

What charger do I need? Use a LiPo-compatible balance charger that supports four-cell 4S batteries and has the appropriate EC5 charging lead and JST-XH balance-board connection.

What charge current should I use? Follow the charging instructions supplied with the battery. When no higher manufacturer-approved charge rate is stated, a conservative 1C charge for a 7000mAh battery is 7A. A lower charge current is also acceptable but will take longer.

How long will this battery run? Runtime depends on vehicle weight, gearing, motor and ESC efficiency, terrain, driving style and ambient temperature. The 7000mAh capacity generally provides longer runtime than a lower-capacity pack of the same voltage under similar conditions.

Does a 120C rating make the vehicle faster? The rating indicates the battery's claimed discharge capability. Vehicle speed is primarily determined by voltage, motor KV, gearing, tyre size and load. A capable battery can help reduce voltage sag in demanding setups but does not replace correct gearing and electronics selection.

Is the hard case waterproof? No. A hard case provides physical protection but should not be considered waterproof. Avoid submerging the battery and dry it immediately if it becomes wet.

Can this battery be used in an RC boat? It may be used in a boat that supports 4S voltage and has sufficient battery space and a compatible connector. Secure the pack against movement and protect it from water exposure.

How should the battery be stored? Use your charger's LiPo storage program and store the pack at approximately 3.8V per cell in a cool, dry and fire-resistant location. Do not leave it fully charged for extended periods.

When should the battery be retired? Stop using the battery if the case becomes swollen, cracked, punctured or unusually hot, if the wires or connectors are damaged, or if the cells become significantly unbalanced.
